To Edit Your Previously Registered private name servers at GoDaddy

If you set up your own private name servers for your Domain Name Server (DNS) service, you can edit your host name and add or edit IP addresses.

If there are domain names currently pointed to these hosts, you cannot remove them. Further, changes you make to the hosts can affect how those domains function. Be cautious and verify your settings before saving changes.

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Next to Domains, click Launch.
  3. Click the domain name you want to edit.
  4. Next to Hostnames, click Manage.
  5. Next to the hostname you want to use, click Edit.
  6. Make any changes you want, and then click Edit.

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate. This means your hosting or other domain name features might not work during the propagation period.
